Depends how big it is. But 5 days minimum. They always seem to thaw pretty slowly in there. But that's the safest way to do it.

Weigh the turkey if you can or the weight should be on the turkey packaging. But in a fridge you should let thaw for about 4 hours per pound. You can also do the traditional cold water thawing which you should leave the turkey in its packaging you should change the water about every 30 minutes.I perfer this because with the fridge thawing you have to wait the shortest two days and the longest six days and dont forget thanksgiving is in four days. With cold water thawing the shortest is four hours and the longest is Twelve.Even though you have to change the water every 30 minutes depending on the size most of the time i pass the time by making the corn or the stuffing etc.For cold water thawing a turkey that is 8 to 12 pounds takes 4 to 6 hours of cold water thawing.
Turkies with 12 to16 pounds takes 6 to 8 hours to thaw.Turkies that are 16 to 20 pounds take 8 to 10 hours to thaw. And turkies that are 20 to 24 pounds take 10 to 12 hours to thaw.Heres a Tip: So you won't have to change the water when slepping because the whole purpose of changing the water is to keep it cold is to add ice near the tukey, but not too much becaue it will stay frozen.Only do this when in bed or when not attending to the Turkey.Hope this works.

Recommended: Thawing in the Refrigerator
Leave the bird in its original wrapping and place it on a tray in the refrigerator. Allow 5 hours per pound or 3-4 days for a 14-19 pound turkey to defrost.

"Quick" Thawing:
Place turkey in its original wrapping in sink and cover with COLD water. Change the water every 1/2 hour to maintain the temperature. Allow 1/2 hour per pound to defrost the turkey. Most turkeys will take from 5 to 10 hours to thaw.

Microwave Thawing: NOT RECOMMENDED
Microwave ovens do not heat evenly, and they also heat quicker along the bone. Microwave thawing of a turkey is generally not recommended.

Today is the day to take it out of the freezer and place in the refrigerator. If it is chilly in your house, that might not be soon enough. If it is rather warm, tomorrow would be the better day to remove from the freezer.
Of course, it also depends upon the size of the turkey; the larger it is, the longer it will take to thaw.
Thanks for reminding me! I forgot to get mine out!
