When you pour water into an ice cube bag it lets you fill it up but if you got to tip it out it won't let you!

What happens to stop the water from going out again?

Ad you pour the water in the air is forced out. When you try and pour it out the air can not get in as the water comes out so it forms a vacume at the top which holds the water in by suction
