For your anti-virus needs, I would suggest Avira AntiVir® PersonalEdition Classic. It has excellent heuristics, a virus detection rate that is better than most "paid-for" anti-virus programs and is light on using your computer's resources. Uses less then 10 MB RAM on my machine. Its always worth doing an online scan ...try trendmicro online scanner and ewido online scanner, they are both very slow to scan but they do let you remove any bugs that are there when the scan has finished. You should not use them as your permanant anti virus try Avast if you dont want to payforone. It is very good. I hope that helps.
