Hello. I am a bit concerned, but I want some professional opinion or something on this. I am 17, and I have never been having the kinds of thoughts my 12 year old cousin does. Ok, maybe I did, but I just kinda encouraged myself to live every day to the max. But, recently my cousin has started thinking about how one day she will die, and she is REALLY scared...Should I be taking this seriously or is this a kind of fase that every teenager goes through? Please, answer with no sarcasm, I truly want to help her...

Well it's natural to be scared or paranoid about death, but at that age you don't want to scare her.

If anyone or anything (even a pet) close to her has died talk to her about it, that's probobly why she's thinking like that.

Some teenagers or kids go through this phase if they just learnt about death.
But still keep a close eye on her.
