America who fought 2 world wars to keep the world free. America who defeated Soviet communism.
America who provides safe haven to most of the world's political refugees?
America who forced Europe to step into Kosovo as Europe did nothing as hundreds of thousands were slaughtered by the Serbs?

America is not perfect but no other nations have helped so many other people stay free.

Who is we?

People have to have the bomb, the means of delivery, and hatred for someone to deliver it to. Pakistan does have some good missiles, but how far can they go?

The US is more at risk of this from North Korea than from Pakistan. Europe is pretty safe in the short term, except from escalation of terrorist armaments. As I have stated in other answers, the solution for Europe is to support grievance resolution, and learn how to do real assimilation. Failing to do so just perpetuates the risks.

India is the biggest target of the Pakistani extremists, and even of Pakistani moderates. I would not be surprised to see a first strike by India, if their intelligence shows they are at imminent risk.

Remember that in recent history, Pakistani's sent a small army of terrorists to take over the Indian parliament building, and there have been a ton of conventional military conflicts between India & Pakistan over Kashmir. Russia and China have been selling both sides lots of military hardware.

Then there's people in Pakistan who might supply armaments to terrorists and rogue nations. Remember Libya's NUKE program was largely supported by Pakistan's father of their NUKE program.

Remember that bin Laden HQ is supposedly in teh mountatins between Pakistan and Afghanistan & bin Laden started off being a millionaire thanks to the construction business, which also gave him an education in the destruction business.

I don't understand your point - the USA is a solidly democratic, stable, Western liberal democracy. There is no way that the USA will nuke anyone without just cause.

If radical Islamists take control of Pakistan, we just place our trust that the military will hold onto any nuclear launch codes etc. The military and ordinary people of Pakistan don't want any wars. It's a small group of very vocal, well armed, so-called religious headcases that we have to worry about.

It's not 'The Bomb' that is the cause for worry, it's the nuclear material itself. Enriched plutonium to make one bomb or missile can be made into hundreds of small 'suitcase' nukes. This is well documented. For this reason, rogue nations like North Korea and Iran must not be allowed to produce nuclear material.
