College life should not be so difficult. You had several bad experiences, all while you were trying to adjust to being away from home, living independently, and having a good environment where you could study effectively, make friends, and be happy. None of this happened. I think it is thoughtful of you to be concerned about your mother and under the circumstances, it was probably a good decision to "start over" next year. Don't give up. You might even decide to stay in the community college for a couple years before transferring out of the area. Good luck in furthering your education. You will never regret it!

Yes i think you did the right thing. You were having a ruff time and it was probably because your new at it and you probably would have kept having problems there. It is probably very helpful to your mom if you go home and go to a community college. When you get enough money you can go have fun at a different college. Hopefully this college is going to be better so you can enjoy it a little more. I wouldnt have done anything differently.

Hope i helped...
