It is safe, but not good. You're looking for something like KY or Astroglide, which are liquid instead of chunky. You can find them in the family planning aisle. I'd start with the basics and skip the warming at first. It can be surprising.

Lube isn't generally necessary for female masturbation.

Also, Vaseline and other petroleum-based products do eat through latex. The condom will fail, in other words. You'll get pregnant or worse. So, absolutely skip the Vaseline when playing with others.

Vaseline probably isn't the best thing to use, especially if you continue to have sex using condoms.

The best thing to use would be KY jelly or Durex play. Most chemists such as boots have there own brand which are just as good. Durex have a few different varieties including tingle...which is amazing.

If your feeling brave go into Ann summers...they have there own brand which is good too!

Have fun!

Vaseline is safe, and it would certainly work for you. Because vaseline is petroleum(millions of year old plant and dinosaur goo) based it won't evaporate away so it's really messy and smells pretty bad. Astroglide or KY are far superior in terms of amounts required, and easy of cleanup as they are water based and both are equally safe.

Vaseline is pretty thick and sticky...try mineral oil, or ky jelly. And not in large amounts. Once you get the body going, it makes its own lubrication.

there are lots of personal lubricants out there, so please don't use vaseline, stick to ky jelly, there are soo many different versions of ky jelly which can cause heating sensation on the skin (lol luv it) and also watch out for other lubricants containing glycerin which can cause yeast infection

It will make you hairier as it is grease based... Use K Y Jelly and never use baby oil either.. If performed properly, there should be enough 'natural' lubrication....

KY jelly is a better vaginal lubricant. It is a poor choice for anal lubrication, here Vaseline is better,

Vaseline is unhealthy and not intended for genital use despite that misconception. KY - Jelly is excellent. Good Luck! and enjoy!

No, that's not very good for you. Get some KY jelly. It even comes in a warming formula, which is nice.
