I have a 2000 W reg, 1600, Vauxhall Astra Club with a red warning light on the dash.
The light has a symbol of a stick person sat in a seat, with a seatbelt on, with a circle near to the head of the figure. This light is in the bottom left corner of the dashboard. I'm assuming this is an airbag warning light.
Any ideas on what this is & how to fix it?
Also, does anyone know where I can get an owners user manual for this car (not a Haynes manual)

It's the "SRS" (Safety Restraint System) warning light. It's indicating there could be a fault with your airbag or seat-belt tensioners. Your need to take it to a garage and have a Tech 2 diagnosis so you can find out what the fault is and rectified and the light turned off.

Sounds like the airbag warning light is coming on. Time to have the car checked out at your local vaxhaul garage.

Yep its the airbag warning light. If it stays on all the time it could mean that there is a fault with the airbag system, get it checked out.

Hi Check the fluid levels, and then check the brake pads for wear. The light will come on if the levels drop too low or the pads wear out. Cheers Geordie

Airbag! don't fiddle with it yourself. If you get it wrong you could blow your head off!
