More Scottish bashing it seems, why can't people get along

Most scots do well at verbal bashing of the English...it's a two way process , but I also I know that many Scots would be gutted if they became Independant.

They could go it alone that I have no doubt but they need to stop bickering amongst themselves and stop the class distinction that is creeping into the Scottish way of life. This is very evident in the big cities such as Edinburgh and Aberdeen not so in Glasgow though. Those living in Aberdeen and Edinburgh have had wealth for the taking and there is a great deal of snobbishness in the North East of Scotland .

Let me write and say straight away I am English, just so there is no misunderstanding, what on earth is the constant bashing of Scotland all about, certainly they may have a difference of views than some of us in England but, they have that basic right, as we have, how can the questioner arrive at the basis for the question is beyond belief, I know from my personal experience from working with Scottish citizens they are amongst the best in the world.as for the country itself perhaps it could be outlined more specifically exactly what he means about being the worst small country in Western Europe. my Friend who ever you are you make no sense, and

I live in Scotland, although I am English, it is the most beautiful place on this earth. The people are mostly friendly and warm.
They have certain problems and parts of Glasgow are awful, but that applies to every large city in the world.
I felt that many of the comments in the article were unfair, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
The one thing here that can't be questioned is our health service, people come from England as many drugs are available here that they can't get south of the border

I do not bash the Scots but am mindful that when James iv inherited the English Crown he could not get to London fast enough. Perhaps that is an indication. To all those proud Scots who tell us that the Highlands were never conquered I ask did anyone actually want to even to-day the land is not worth that much when it is compared to say an acre of land in London.
