Do you turn your money over when you see a new moon?

Heard on the train... A small child said to her mum.... " Mammy is the moon following us?"............ i thought the same as a child.

I've never turned my money over on purpose but....My kids ask me all the time if the moon is following us and I always tell them, Yes...it's because they are special and the moon wants to meet them. They like the thought of that. My oldest said that he wanted to be an astronaut so that he could make the moon happy.

My Grannie used to do that when I was little, she was very superstitious, I go outside and make a wish on a new moon but don't turn my money over.

nope never heard this one before.But when we were very young,mom says,she remembers my sis seeing a black man on the street and asked why was he black? so young ''wise'' me replied.....you silly,he was out at night and the dark has stuck on him !!!
