The PS3 is best console on the market right now. Why would any one even consider buying a Xbox 360 when it gets the Red Ring of Death and has pitiful hardware.
And to respond to the guy that said the PS3 heats up faster, yes the PS3 operates very warm, but that is normal. At least when it gets too warm it doesn't die like the Xbox 360. And I have heard a lot of people complaing that the Xbox 360 is so loud. The PS3 is a quiet gaming machine and the PS3 will NEVER overheat as long as it has the proper air flow.
The 40GB PS3 is cheaper than the Xbox 360 Elite, so not every PS3 costs more than the Xbox 360. The only model thats more expensive than the 360 Elite is the 60GB and 80GB models. The PS3 has some good games out now, and has a lot more to come.
Microsoft has let down so many of its Xbox 360 owners by building a faulty game machine, but Sony is known around the world for making the best electronic products and that is exactly what they did with the PS3.

The xbox 360 because Xbox Live is alot better. On the PS3 you have to go threw so many loops in the system but Xbox Live takes you straight there. It ha High Definition and Halo 3. The PS3 does not have many good games.Also you can play Xbox games on it too. The 360 is also cheaper.

Right now go with the 360. They have overheating problems but have an awesome warrenty. A lot more games available. Microsoft always pumps out tons of games the PS3 right now is having a slow time right now compared to the 360. the best thing about the PS3 right now is you get 5 free blue ray movies with purchase which is worth about $150.00 so thats not a bad deal. Go 360 all the way.

PS3 its a better console all together it has a huge line up of games comming out soon and online play is free and up to 40 players while 360 is $75 a yr and the most I've seen for one of their games that you dont have to pay extra is about 24.

Buy the 360, it has a better range of games, and more exclusive game deals. It looks more stylish. The online multiplayer is way more reliable, and the PS3 actually heats up more!

i would get a ps3,
go onto www.play .com
and go to the ps3 section, then type in ps3,
you can then by a 40 gb ps3 for £280.00!!!!!!
easy!
dont get an x-box 360!
