I wasn't scared by it,but enjoyed watching Julie Christie, she was one hot good looking actress back then.
As for the film it was ok,but not one of my favourite horror flicks.

If this is the movie where the woman was locked in her home, by the computer system and then pretty much sexually assaulted by it, then yes I was freaked out by it (Although I was much younger than and might not be so freaked out now). I thought it was an awesome movie.

By the way, what does a 15 certificate mean?

I saw the movie DEMON SEED (1977) with Julie Christie when it first came out and it wasn't so scary as an interesting exhibition of then cutting edge special effects and artificial intelligence.
