Sounds like you've got a great idea--what do you need us for? :)
One thought: make sure you use enough lights that you can string them in and out from the center of the tree, too-- to get light behind your clear ornaments. It would also give more light to be reflected by the silvery ones.
Enjoy!
Feliz Navidad!

Ooooh-La-La! I adore those colors for a Christmas Tree...every single one of them except the clear ornaments. Clear? If it was a glassy-like "color" or shade...I wouldn't do that. The other colors blend so perfectly together, making it seem like winter actually IS here! So I think those colors are lovely and try to picture the tree without the clear ornaments. But make sure the colors are light...if they were dark...it'd be tacky. Such as the blues...make sure they're a baby sort of blue, along with the purple and pinks. The white...maybe a creamy type of white to make it POP! more out? And the silver...well I think just...silver would make the tree GORGEOUS!
And maybe a perfect "glowing" (not actually lighting up, but shiny) star right on the top of it!
"Merry Christmas"

not bad, but remember sweet and simple
christmas trees with like red orange green pink purple blue yellow and white and every other color looks heavy and not very pretty
snowflakes and icicles are good, stick with a few simple colors and white sliver and clear would look great
have fun
merry christmas:) xo

Well i always put on red and green garlin. And if you want to get lights get ones that are in a parallel circuit( if you dont know what that is email me). Also put like an angel or a santa claus thats lights up on top of the tree because a star is so original. Also i like doing the tinsel it always finishes the tree.

It sounds very nice. I have two suggestions, though.
First, use muted pinks and purples, almost like a pastel version of those colors. Otherwise it could look garish and/or tacky.
Second, remember that the blue, if you use it in your lights, will actually intensify the brightness of the whites. Use it sparingly.

I think that tree would be pretty enough, but ones like that always seem kind of fake to me. Like something you'd find in a store, not a home. I think they look much nicer when there are tons of colors and shapes on the tree. But it's your tree, if that's what you want to do then go for it!

Well, in my family we just put up a bunch of random ornaments and candy canes and all that good stuff in all different color and color lights with an angel on top. It comes pretty good.

well... it seems cool..! for me, it doesn't seem to matter what shades of color you would like to have on your Christmas tree, what matters is how real Christmas means to you. A lot of people tend to be so overwhelmed on fancy decorations, forgetting that Christmas is a celebration of life and love, of thanksgiving and sharing.
