I first used it yesterday and nearly had a heart attack while taking it out as I felt like my womb was being pulled out. There just seems to be too much suction. The next time I took it out i tried to release it from the top but still got this horrible sucking sensation. I'm worried about doing some damage to myself. I'd really like to persevere so tips please :)

It's important to break the suction protection seal of the cup before taking it out otherwise insertion may be uncomfortable and difficult. Use your dominant hand to grab the base of the cup with a few fingers. Then, while using your other hand insert your pointer finger in all the way until you feel the rim of your cup - push down on the rim until you hear a popping sound which means the seal has been broken. When you're doing this, your cup will automatically fold into the C-Fold position so you can take it out and empty it. If you want to make things a little easier you can bear down with your stomach muscles and act like you're going to the bathroom to help push it out a little more. I also recommend taking your cup out before it reaches the 1/2 full mark to avoid any messes on your hands. Best of luck!

There are supposed to be tiny holes at the top of it to keep the suction from being overwhelming. Possibly, once you get it out, you could check to make sure those tiny holes are there. The best tip I can give you is to relax. When I first started using a cup (not a mooncup but I will be trying the keeper soon) I was horrified when it got stuck. Then I got tense and it just made it harder to get it out. It might help if you try to push it out a little bit. That's just an idea. If you can, try to put your finger up there and push down of the top a little bit. Then use your other hand to pull it out by the stem. This might be a little uncomfortable, but it could help with the suction if your finger can make some more space for air to travel and prevent suction.

Ohhhh will keep an eye on this! I want to try one too and remember the problems I had getting the cap out! Hope you get some help.

Incidentally, there are a lot of ladies on the family home and garden board on ebay who use them - possibly worth a post on there.
