Saturn IS pretty and just because it's a gas giant is not a reason to disqualify it as a place to live. We could live in orbiting stations around Saturn itself, or we could live on one of Saturn's 52 moons! Several of them have great potential.
I'd love to get up in the morning and watch Saturn-rise. Think of how beautiful that would be!

NEVER.

Saturn is a Gas Giant. That means that the whole planet is a huge ball of gas with a very hot molten core of liquid and maybe even a solid gas and metal core. There is no habitable surface on which man might possibly land and the cloud top temperature is very, very cold...Minus 290 Degrees F.

The planet Saturn contains 95 times the material on Earth, but the volume of the planet is big enough to contain more than 750 Earth size planets. It is mainly composed of hydrogen and helium gas which becomes a molten liquid as you move toward the core of the planet. Saturn's rocky ice core contains 10 to 20 times the total mass of the Earth. The planet, even though much bigger than the Earth, spins around in one complete revolution every 10.67 Earth Hours. Winds are reported near the equator of the planet of up to 1200 Miles Per Hour as a result of the differences between the cold gas layers and the molten hot gas rain drops that fall from the Saturn's sky. Trace gases of methane, ammonia, and ethane have been detected by scientific monitoring equipment.

As a result, there will be no human landings or habitation on Saturn.

Saturns moon Triton is being studied due to its resembelance to primordial earth. Some of the moons of Saturn may have water and thus a possiblity for terraforming. It takes 7 years to get there and isnt likely to be our best choice for terraforming..my guess 300-400 years we may make an attempt. Sooner if we find something cool.

Saturn is a gas giant, its impossible to live on the actual planet because you will just fall through right into the core. you could live on one of the moons though, titan is a very good possibility. there might even be some form of life on it now. just a possibility.

Saturn is a gas giant, and therefore has not solid ground to stand on. The closest we may come to would be colonizing on one of Saturn's moons.

The environment is hostile, it will takes year before human can find a way just to stay alive in that kind of environment. Furthermore we still can get there yet with the technology that we have. I don't think it will be within our life to see that happening
