I 'saw' global warming at the age of 9 (42 years ago) and can show you the exact spot when I thought it - I have seen how 99.999% of the human population die out through airborn killer mutated viruses which is starting to happen now...the chicken flu virus - the american mutated virus killing people -
We are killing the world with over population and raping its resouces far too much - who listens ?

Let me quote two lines of Ravindranath Tagore, the Nobel Prize winner for poetry from india. This is in Bengali language.
"jodi Tumar Dak Shune Keo na ashe, tobe tumi akle chalo re..."
"Even when no one listens to you, and you are on the right path, go alone, and keep going alone"
If people opf the world had been slightly sensible, then this woeld would have been wonderful. Think about traffic blocks. If drivers had little patience, and if they had been slightly sensible, there would not have been any traffic blocks, if only they had learned not to try to overtake vehicle lines!!!!
This can not be helped.

Who said this? "Nobody really listens, they are just waiting for the next time they can speak".
I feel this to be true of mass society. Nobody really cares about life after they exist, they are far too selfish.
The way I see it is, the earth will continue to exist in one shape or form, whether it is a million tiny pieces, as a whole with humans, elephants and badgers on it or maybe just a rock of dead dust when the sun looses it's energy. Planet earth is not in trouble, Humans are because we cannot live in an ice age because we are not evolved to deal with it. We got rid of our coats to adapt to this age.
Now here's a question (which I will add to the question board) Is the world better off without humans? Is climate change going to make the world a better place for all the other highly evolved (climately) animals to habitate. I think yes. So don't think of it as something you need to get people to change. It's about time we were made existinct if we think about the world in it's entirity rather than as a specist (descriminating against other species)
I love all life. Not just human life.

what you can do, to influence the world, is to start with yourself, then branch out to family, community, nation and the world
find like minded people, and see what you can do to support your beliefs
what is going on right in your city, that needs improvement? that will help the human condition? many are listening, and along with protecting the earth is also the goal of improving the quality of life,
so you have to pick a cause and see what you can do, there are many organizations for almost all causes nowdays
any cause you support will help the world
yes there is global warming and using the natural resources, so we need to look at the long term, but there are also hunger, wars, lack of health care (even without the viruses you mention) etc etc, so we need to look at the short term
i dont think over population is killing the world, its our lack of using our brains to use ecological friendly means of living that is doing it

Have faith in your beliefs...the energies to give out will interact with all forms of life and slowly they will listen each time with a little more awareness of the last.
I read a story once (I think it may have been by David Icke) in which he described something known as 'The Hundred Monkey Syndrome' in which when a person learns to do something or knows something extraordinary that aids life, then this will somehow (in what seems telepathically taught) be picked up on by others who share similar energies to you.

You talk about world over population and people dieing by the millions in the same sentence, don't you see the balance, don't you see that the world will go on with or without us?
You have to understand men might have some control over his environment, but in the long run "That what does not kill you only makes you stronger."

what you need to do is tell people around you, what you feel and they will listen, then the people who you have told will pass on to other people, this will make a large quantity of people listen.
another thing is, is to actually go on the news or a programme that the whole country watch and make a speech on how you feel and ask questions about global warming. i am 14 and worry a lot about this subject, as this will effect my grand-children in their lives!
hope this has pretty much answered your question. thank you

Unfortunately, unless we start killing people off, overpopulation is inevitable. Or, we could put an end to modern medicine. Your right and all, but this is our predicament, sad but true. Go for a walk and relax.
