Does each employee have a certain number of packets allotted to them at the beginning of their shift? And how about napkins?

I say, "I need 47 ketchups, please" when they hand me two. Hello? Family of 5 and we ALL ordered fries, Einstien. I keep napkins, paper towels and baby wipes in the car - you cannot depend on them for napkins. Ever. I think the managers must get a bonus for shorting their customers of straws, plastic utensils, and condiments. One needs a McFork when one orders the McSalad!

Having never worked in food service I have no clue how to answer your question. Why do we have to ask for ketchup anyway? Isn't it just a given that ketchup goes with fries? I am also baffled by McDonalds new system with the tray lined up and the drink cup last. They get really angry if you try to take your tray or your cup before they are finished. All those hungry people waiting drooling over your tray it's gross. I want my tray next to the cashier where I can keep an eye on it.

I went through the drive thru of Mcdonalds once and requested 6 napkins and 4 packets of ketchup. I only did that for a good laugh plus my Sister was the Manager and i thought it would be hilarious to do that

I hate it when they go.."Is two or three enough?"

"No, *****, I got 6 freaking orders of fries, I was the only remotely sober person who could drive well enough to come here and get food for 10 people, plus this stupid drink carrier is most likely going to topple once I try to carry it from my car to the house, plus 3 people there are stoned and I know will be dipping many fries in the crap, so no, no dumbass, I may need more than 2 or 3 packets."

I hate that. I like lots of ketchup when I am in the mood for it. I get a little attitude and tell them I need lots of ketchup because I am filling up my bottle at home. They are never sure what to do from that point.

OMG i know exactly what you mean... I once heard the more cuss words you use, the more condiments you will get

2 packets: "Hey, can I get some Ketchup?"

5 packets: "Hey, can I get a Sh!t load of Ketchup?"

15 packets: "Hey, can I get a F*%#ing Sh!tload of Ketchup?"

I don't have a prob with ketchup. I've seen them out for the taking at the places I've been to. BUT.....when you go to Panda Express you must ask for condiments like soy sauce or hot sauce. And....they only give you like 2. That is the worst place regarding condiments that I have ever been to.

I don't know if they are only allotted so many of things-- but YES I dream of more than just 2 extra packets. It's usually a dream- but I dream it.
