Hate it !!!!!!!! War is bad for children and other living things.....

Wars are usless, it is a no one ever wins. People get killed on both sides, families distroyed. But it is human nature I guess - we will never stop killing each other over power, land and obviously recently oil! I hope one day we will learn to live in peace it is just hard to believe since wars have been going on since humans exist.
I have seen war and felt it , it is a harsh and terorising experience, I don't wish that upon anyone!

A barbaric, atavistic but sadly occasionally necessary evil.
I only wish some of our politicians and their excitable cheerleaders in the media would realise that war may well "be an extension of politics by other means" (von Clausewitz, 'On War') but it should always be the ultimate, doomsday option of last resort.
Unfortunately, while one group of human beings have something another group wants, or while one group of human beings doesn't like the way another group of human beings chooses to live, we will always have war.
So much for us being the 'smart monkey', eh?

war only happens with corrupt goverments want to get things that they can't get domestically. Hence our current war we are in.
Our country needs to mind there own bussiness and get us out these stupid wars. which is why I support Ron Paul for president.

War is Hell! But sometimes it can't be avoided.i just hope and pray that this war we are fighting in now is over soon. too many people are dieing.

A necessary evil.....and it has more become a police action than an actual war where you pound the enemy and it's home until they surrender. Good for civilians..bad for troops.

It has devastated millions. It is glamorized and used for propaganda. However, the US invasion and occupation of the Middle East also is devastating. I don't know how Western media can call it a 'war'.
Choice of words is very important.

I think war is just awfull. All your really doing is killing someone so you dont have to deal with a problem.
