Sigh, the grass needs cutting again, why did I look out?

Yep, I'd like some snow too! We've had a bus strike though; similar effect, but not as scenic : )

It's 6:47 am, quite foggy with temp of 50 degrees. But weather forecast shows that it will go up to 80's here in the valley today. There is a forecast of cooling off by Tuesday, that is, temperature will be in high 60's as its high. We are clamoring for rain here in California.

Hey I'm in Thailand and right at this moment it should be winter or at least a so called cold season.... It's hot here. The sun shines much stronger than in summer.
It rained this evening which does help a little.

Lucky you. You have rain. I am in North Carolina, and we are undergoing the worst drought in this area's history. New landscaping put in at my house is requiring extreme watering, and I'm forced to exploit a loophole in the county's water restriction laws in order to keep my junipers and grass alive. We have had maybe three inches since June.
