what is it with gay men and cats? all gay men have cats. why is this?

I'm gay and have 3 cats. Though my ex bf didn't like cats at all. I know a straight guy who takes his cat everywhere with him, including to work.
So no, not all gay men have cats and not all straight men hate them.

Oh my God !! i have 7 cats !! and i think i am starting to have this bizarro temptations... No way.. well.. hmmm, maybe having a cat as a pet, is a way to show that someone has a sensitivity, which i think most gay men have..

Not all gay men have cats. (and if a gay guy does I guess it's cause they want to be more girly-cause we normally associate cats with lil girls and dogs with lil boys(even though that's not true in todays society.)

I inheirited a cat from my heterosexual uncle. But he's a Maine coon--a very butch cat! Have you really canvassed a significant population of gay men to make such a blanket statement?
