I do wear glasses only for reading and when i'm on the compuer, but they are to strong to walk around in and make my eyes feel funny, do you think if i wore +1.00 glasses just now and again in the day to match my outfit my eyesight would deteriate? help please!! thanks

it is never a good thing to wear glasses when you don't need to that will come soon enough with age . If you only ware glasses to read and to see the computer then why are they so strong ? you might need to have them checked but yes it will deteriorate your eye site if you ware them when you don't need to and the glasses you buy in the drugstore are never a good thing to use unless your doctor says so.

IT SEEMS YOU ARE "FAR SIGHTED".WHAT YOU NEED IS A READING GLASS FOR READING AND DURING THE TIME WHEN YOU ARE WITH YOUR COMPUTER.
DON'T SPOIL YOUR EYE SIGHT NY USING READING GLASSES ALL THE WHILE.
ASK ANY EYE SPECIALIST......I AM SURE HE WILL INSIST ON NOT TO PRACTISE WHAT YOU ARE THINKING OF.
THE DOC WILL PRESCRIBE A BI-FOCAL PAIR OF GLASSES, WHICH IS RIGHT FOR YOU AS YOU NEED GLASSES ONLY ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS. POWER +1.00 IS NOT VERY INSGNIFICANT.IF YOU USE THE SAME PAIR OF GLASSES FOR ALL PURPOSES , YOUR EYES WILL BE DAMAGED.I AM SURE , YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM IN YOUR DISTANT VISION.
GOD BLESS

I think it would be fine, and you can always have clear lenses put in them.
