First of all, forget the Republicans, ALL OF THEM. They are a bunch of buffoons!
I would like to see Obama as President and John Edwards as Vice-president. Hillary says she "can hit the ground running". This conjures up a mental picture of her backside jiggling as she runs across the White House lawn which really is distasteful. How quickly we forget the Clinton era. They were an embarrassment to this country. We need some dignity and decorum, and we won't get it from Hillary. She doesn't care about others as she professes to do. She's on a power trip. She has cold, mean eyes--they're just harder to see now with the Botox.

While still VERY early in the cycle, the answer to your question (I believe) will depend on OHIO. If things continue as they are now (e.g. disenchantment with the Iraq war, pessimism in the housing and/or credit markets with still high levels of housing inventory), then "Mrs. Bill Clinton" or Barack Obama will be the next President. If, however, while things do not change drastically that (nevertheless) the PERCEPTION becomes that a little bit brighter (e.g. half or more of the maximum troop deployment in Iraq or Afghanistan come home, AND/OR the stock market starts to make fairly consistent, newer highs AROUND MAY/JUNE 2008), then the Republican nominee (Guiliana, Romney, Thompson or Huckabee) will be the next President. These factors will contribute signficantly to THE OUTCOME IN OHIO. As you know, the Electoral College -- in general, affected directly proportional to representation of the States and by the People -- will determine the next President, and NO REPUBLICAN HAS EVER WON THE WHITE HOUSE WITHOUT OHIO. Of course, history can always change (along with populations) -- and history is less volatile long-term than some of these other economic (long-term in theory but short-term in practice and individual's/families' lives) effects. If the Democrats again want to put more of their chips on Ohio or Florida once again (Florida is a more difficult challenge) then their vice presidential candidate might be an Ohioan, most likely Gov. Ted Strickland, who is very popular in the state. Should they decide to go southwestern, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who is running for president himself in what many believe is an audition for vice president, might well be the choice.

I believe Congressman Ron Paul deserves to be our next president, both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama cannot commit to withdrawing troops out of Iraq by 2013, possibly even later... Paul has a proper exit strategy outlined for Iraq, one which will have the troops home within 3-6 months. Both Clinton and Obama, voted in favor of reauthorizing the Patriot Act, Paul voted against it. Both Clinton and Obama, haven't ruled out the option of using strikes against Iran.. they also support Bush's sanctions against the country.. Paul on the other hand advocates a non-interventionist foreign policy where we handle situations with diplomacy.. Clinton and Obama, are both in favor of amnesty for illegal immigrants and higher taxes to reduce the U.S. debt.. Paul however is for stronger borders and will reduce government spending to take the burden of taxpayers..
Unlike other candidates whose stances seem to change from week to week, Paul's record is consistent.. He isn't backed by lobbyists, corporations or interest groups... his agenda involves nothing more then helping the average American..

Me. I'm retired military, a combat vet (enlisted -- so I know what it is to be crapped on), I'm college educated and own a small business -- I know what it is to live and work on a shoe string budget. And I know the difference between right and wrong. Vote for me.

Edwards in my opinion is the best of the candidates that we have.
Seems very honest, unlike some.
