It's CNN, the network has been around for a long time, has bureaus in most countries, has access to sources that a lot of other networks don't, and is credible. According to the Nielsen ratings, CNN rates as America's number one cable news source, and people all over the world watch it.

FOX news tells me what the neocons are trying to promote. The other news channels are less obvious, but also tainted. Even PBS has run stories that are totally inaccurate, especially about 9/11.
The news channels have become propaganda with emphasis on high ratings You cannot rely on any news channel for the truth. For that, you must do your own research and reflective thought.
Our major media outlets are corrupted by monied interests.

it seems that all the news is depressing these days. so none of them are my favorite.
