At what point do cons start letting their kids listen to Rush and learn hate. I've seen many parents blast it in their cars while the baby is in the back car seat being mesmerized by fearmongering.

That's shocking but I do believe you are right. Great observation and that proces of indoctrinating the youth is nothing new. It's in the bible and in the writings of Lenin as well. Give me the youth and I'll have them forever

The problem with conservatives isn't the everyday conservatives themselves; it's the people they listen to. Conservative leaders, in their vilification of liberals, tell so many lies about what liberals are supposed to believe, support, say, do, etc., that the everyday conservatives end up hating a fictional enemy. If what the pundits said about liberals was true, I'd be a hardcore conservative.

If liberals were so terrible, these pundits and politicians would have no reason to lie at all. They could just recite facts and let them stand for themselves. Instead they take part in character assassination and avoid speaking about actual issues. They make blanket statements that have no basis in fact. What's worse is that many of them cloak their rhetoric in a pseudo-Christian guise to act as if God is somehow on their side (even though the Bible basically tells them to pray quietly and stay out of politics).

Virtually all of the lies that are told about liberals are easily shattered with the barest attempt at rationality and reason. The facts stand for themselves, yet so much mud is slung that the facts are like gems buried under several feet of mud. The facts are there, and are obvious and clear, but unfortunately one must dig through all the crap that is spewed in order to bring them to light. When one digs a handful of it away, the pundits are expert at piling on even more crap, or more often, will distract and divert away from the digging.

So only conservative parents are wrong when there politicle views influence there children?? Why aren't liberals wrong? Why is anyone right influencing any politicle decision?

My parents didn't influence me and I'm a conservative. Did your parents indoctrinate you... is that why you're a liberal?? Or did you make your own decision. I'm going to go out on a limb and bet your parents are liberal, you grew up with that ideology, and now you think that because you were influenced by your parents everyone is. I don't see many kids that listen to anything there parents say.

You should stop assuming the only way someone becomes a conservative is "hate" indoctrination and start thinking that there are points on both sides of the spectrum that attract a certain individual.

Rush doesn't teach hate. I used to listen to Air-America -and it was nothing but hate for the right and doomsday type talking. I have never, ever heard hate taught in Sunday School. My guess is that you've been listening to the hate talk from the left.

Yeah...they want to be the ones to someday call into the Rush Limpd*ck show and say...."Dido...I'm a Rush baby and my kid is too"....Sick Sick Sick.....Rush has a complete God complex. He honestly thinks he should be the father figure for America.....He spews nothing but hate and wants nothing more than to keep division in government....It seems his main mission is to prove .... somehow.... that reps/cons can do no wrong and the "left" is a bunch of retards....What he doesn't realize is that he looks and sounds like a total moron, blaming Clinton and Dems for everything that Bush has done.....I hate that Prick and Hannity is like the gerbil up Rush's @ss....

My dad used to blast "Fresh Air" on NPR.

Maybe that's what made me like Boortz and Savage!

you should be careful, because only allowing a child to experience one culture will make them grow fearful of other cultures and people.
