I am making paper mache snowmen to fill with candy for christmas, and I am not sure how long it takes to dry. I currently only have one layer on, and need to add 5 more and then paint it. I am just curious as to how long I am going to be waiting for the first layer to dry. I am using a glue paste for the paper mache.

well it usually doesnt take very long, actually. paper mache dries fast and hard. so i would say 5-15 minutes (per layer)depending on whether you put alot of the mix on the paper strips.
have fun
