Honestly I think automatically I make judgments in my head, but I wouldn't hold that against anybody it's something I would do naturally, but Iam willing to get to know the person and be prepared for a different frame of mind.

Yes if you are referring to a book then yes; my first thought about a book that I am interested in is what is on the cover? I do Civil War research and if I am handed a book with a battlefield scene then I want to check it out. If that same book were handed to me with a plain cover my first reaction is to reject it.

Different story if you are referring to a person. I look at the person, how they are dressed, hair cut, their smile and eyes, so they look at me when we are introduced? I give everyone the benefit of proving them selves in due time.

Nope I read the description. But the book I'm reading right now doesn't have a cover. So I could judge it by it's cover.

Of course. If it says "HOLY BIBLE" on the cover, I will assume that it's a Bible. It's natural for everyone to judge a book by it's cover.

First impressions are important and I am occasionaly wrong but generally speaking my gut instinct about books and people are usually right. Some you find more interesting than others.

yes naturally everyone does without meaning to. its a part of your brain that does it, say the first time i ever say you, you were tripping around because you didnt sleep much the night before or you were hung over, i would then think you were clumsy and it would be in my head forever that you were so. its just the way out brain works...its for referencing really...

No, experience has taught me that this practice quite often falls short of the initial expectation. and assumation, although I accept we all have stereotypes, hence the judgement. Lib x

at times i do. Just for the fact that you can tell what type of book it is. If its a mystery it has one certain type of look and so on.
