I live in America, specifically southern Indiana. I live in a historical city there of about 15,000. My mother is a teacher and father a Businessman. We live in a subdivision of the city full of brick colonial homes, and happy children. It is a wealthier part of the town, and the southern part is caught in drugs. We have lived her for 10 years and this home for 6. Life is going to work, and going to beautifully Indianapolis on the weekends. We love the rivers and nature, also the city of skyscrapers of Indy. The community is suffering form fighting weather or not to build new schools. We have 125 year old schools which are full of mold, bats, cockroaches, and germs. This is the 2nd time we are trying to build new ones. The city is open to different religions and races. Overall this a a nice place to live.

I live with my boyfriend, Andrew. I also have 5 cats and 2 dogs. Plus, my fishy. My cats are named Babi, Lucy, Skipper, Dancer, and Piggy. My dogs are named Bella and Scooter. My fishy is Goldision. I live in a 3 bedroom house, 3 bathroom, with a large kitchen and dining room, a fireplace in the family room, a deck with a hot tub, and a HUGE backyard with a pool. Me and Andrew have lived in the house for about 1 year and we love it. We occupy one bedroom and put the cats and dogs stuff (food, litterbox) in the other. We also have a guest room, which is often in use. I also spent a lot of money to fence the backyard so the cats and dogs can be let outside and not escape. The house is painted white and brown. We have a 2 car garage and a nice and long driveway. My favourite spot is the bedroom. It has a king size bed and 2 closets. It's really big. It has a tv and my work computer. Me and Andrew loooove it.

our family is grown and not living at home anymore.they areonly a 2 hour drive away into a beautiful canoeing town....
I've been here all my life.
We live on the shore of Lake Superior(a very large fresh water lake) part of a chain of 5 great lakes in Canada.
We have 4 seasons here and presently we are enterring winter. It is about 0-6 degrees celsius today and in December we will have snow.
This is an area of pristene, unspoiled beauty. We are considered Nothwestern Ontario and are known for all the inland fishing spots. We have many fresh water lakes and good hunting like, deer, moose, partridge, etc. We have a nice city about 115,000 people , very mixed and diversified.
This city has been the stopping grounds for many ethnic groups and everyone is welcome here. He have a lot of families from all over the world with a very large population of ukranian, poles, Italians, Finns, French, Scandinavians, Greek, Vietnemese, East Indian, CHinese,Native Indian. etc. we are a mixed salad here and it brings a lot of good things to the community..
There are good schools and many churches that thrive here.
The city is about 45 minutes from the US border and the nearest large cities are Winnipeg, Manitoba or Minneapolis, Minnesota which is a 8 hour drive.....
We have wonderful down hill and cross county skiing as well as ski jumping, ice climbing, skating outdoors, broomball hockey, curling., ski dooing, in the winter...
Our summers offer some of the best places for canoeing, fishing, camping, picnicing and just enjoing the outdoors, all within 30 minutes of the city. There are camping grounds near by and lots of sandy beaches at the man made lakes or the natural lakes.... we have indoor swimming pools to accomodate those who want to swim all year round, as well as a indoor track. We have several golf courses and hiking trails.
It is a wonderful city to bring up a family and it is safer than most.......
We do have a college and university here, so we have a large campus. The housing varies from singles, dwelling, to duplexes and condo or apartment which ever you are interested in.
renting a 3 bedroom apt would take you around 7-800 dollars a month utilities included except telephone and cable.
You can rent a house for 700-1000. dollars a month everything included again except telephone and cable...
The housing costs are good and it is not too expensive.
3 bedroom bungalow nice neighbourhood about 125,000 dollars with a finished basement..Taxes can be anywhere from 1200- to 3000 dollars a year depending on where you want to live and if it is a new development....
There are plenty of apartments available starting at 500 dollars a month.
We are a blue collar town with some government offices here , the railway and mills and the elevators are a large part of the industry here. We have nice shopping malls and we are close enough to Minnesota if you want to go to the US to shop, as the canadian dollar is worth more than the us.....
The minmum wage is about 8 dollars an hour and professional workers are paid well (starting at 25 dollars per hour and up)
there are beautiful mountains and canyons, rollinghills and indigenlous forests, clearwater lakes, rocky shores, sandy beaches and beautiful look out sites......as well as water falls and the sleeping giant, a great land mass situated in the bay of the port that is part of an Indian legend...which looks like a large man lying down.....
ther is so much more here than I can describe, I love it and always have, being a port is important to me, there is a lot of rich history here and folk lore

as i describe it you will know where i live in a second. The housing market is changing so much here, to high rises on the strip and even outward. i like the view from my terrace can see all of the lights from_________ I do not enjoy the weather its still summer here and is summer 10 months out of a year. i only like the fact there is no state tax here so no need to pay tax on food.either. the girls here are wild i guess its a swell place for a man, if i was younger id be down on the _________too. having fun!
people here are not nice, not like atlanta. drivers will run you over which im sure you hear on the news. but its the elaborate casinos, hooters, clubs, adult ones too, the gambling that draws people in . i do not like the weather though

I live with my fiance and his slow uncle. I have only lived in this house for two months. I really like it here. I live in downtown so I can walk anywhere I want to go for the fact that this town is not very big. The grocery store and gas station is all one place here. There are two resturants right across the street in this town. You can either go to the first one which is just a pizza place or you can go to the next one which is a little bit of everything. Then down a little bit farther is the drug store, bank, and police station. Its a little bit of a walk to either churchs or the bowling alley but its a great town. I would never trade it for the country again.
