It was the first book I ever read and I've not stopped reading yet. I'd rather read than watch a movie.

Although difficult is relative, I would not call The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn difficult. The most difficult part is reading dialect. I'm not a big fan of the novel, but I do recognize its significance to literature. I would recommend The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

According to Mark Twain, the first line of Chapter 1 of Huck Finn reads: 'You don't know about me, without you have read a book by the name of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," but that ain't no matter.' Apparently Clemens didn't think it was important to be so sivilized as to have read Tom Sawyer.

This is a great classic. Should not be confusing at all. There is also a movie (at least 1) based on this book. For a written review may I suggest you go to amazon.com

Huck Finn is ageless...good for anyone! I would suggest for a research you should pick a book concerning something you really enjoy.

Well, in my high school, my friends who are taking English this semester (I take it next semester) are reading it now, and none of them like it. They say it bores them and they don't like how Twain writes. But, it is a classic, so someone had to like it. Well, I hope I gave you a good highschooler's perspective.
