for example things that are bad for global warming like manufature of toys, electronic goods, plastic bags, food produce, fire works, animal slaughter, etc, all these things give off huge amount of pollutants and consume vast amounts of energy .All these things are used up at most of the worlds religions destroying our planet as a result, SO SOHULD WE BAN ALL RELIGIOUS CELEBRATIONS WHICH USES VAST AMOUNT OF RESOURCES? P.S THE RELIGIONS I'M MENTIONING ARE CHRISTIANITY, HINDUISM, ISLAM

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. What religions do this " manufacture of toys, electronic goods, plastic bags, food produce, fire works, animal slaughter, etc, all these things give off huge amount of pollutants and consume vast amounts of energy "

From your list we need to Ban all forms of business that manufacture those items. This has got to be the most wildly wrong thinking I have ever heard.

You win the prize...lay off whatever you are taking or drinking.

Oh yes (sarcasm) and we should ban all of those Live Aid concerts that are to bring awareness of global warming - hmmmm, and private jets and mansions. And I dont knwo what religous celebrations your are talking about because when we woudl get together for church function we might BBQ, play some baseball or volleyball - not hook up thousand watt amps, set up metal stages in grassy fields and blast loud music deafening the future generations of the world.

Cheers and have a wonderful day.

Come on.
I have a solution the Greens would like. Lets just go back to living in caves with a fire to keep us warm. Oh, wait a minute. Scratch the fire. That will cause global warming to.
And religion has nothing to do with it and never has.

my word are you scrooge in real life. why not ban if your going on your idea think of this. the cremation of people that goes on everyday around the world produces more than all them factories making all them products do. so here is the simple way out of that we all become imortal and don't have to worry about dying that would solve one form of global warming risk see i have solved it. so
Nobel peace prize for me for next year i am delighted to receive this award for my idea that we should all become imortal and not produce carbon when we die. thank you all.

That has to be the STUPIDEST thing I have ever seen on answers so far. No, you can't stop religious celebrations as long as the religion exists, and Christmas isn't even about getting presents! It's celebrating Jesus' birth.

OK I think Al Gore wouldn't even go there. Humans give off more air pollution after we eat gravy than those 9v twinkle lights..
