That depends-some may close early to prepare for the big sale promotions set to start on Friday early (usually 6 a.m. opening). Some Grocery stores are packed Thanksgiving Day for forgotten food items though.

I know kroger store usually open half day on thanksgiving just incase someone forgot something for their meal. Kmart i see my town open. Walmart i think are open. I end up got to store one year for thanksgiving to get diapers. I was in er with one night before because he had a bad rash that wouldn't go away and found out that he was allergic the brand of diapers that he was wearing I had to go to store to get a different brand to get rid of that rash and went away and never came back since I switch the brand too,.

Wal-Mart will be open... I asked the other day and they said yes... otherwise, you just have to look... even some restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving... go figure THAT one out.!

no, some stay open all year even Christmas though the hours they are open might be shorter for the holiday....
gas stations, grocery, and some shopping is usually available

you may find a convenience store or two open and possibly a few restaraunts as well...
but almost everything will be closed!
