I find bull fighting disgusting and extremely cruel I wonder how these countries do not ban them by law.. In India, we do have one act, called as Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.I find the bull fights utterly despicable.

1) Certain breeds in the category 'pit bull' were selectively bred for dog aggression. It's simply encouraging their prey drive to kick in and giving them a good feeling about it. Not to mention the access to illegal substances which some people in the fighting world most likely use on their dogs. So all in all it's not technically forcing them, it's encouraging the trait through genetics and 'conditioning'. ANY breed or mix of breeds can be used in fighting, 'pit bulls' are just commonly used and get the worst of the reputation for it. 2) I have seen others I like better. It's decent and may actually reach some although I doubt it. Most people involved in that style of life don't care about dogs and couldn't care less how cute they are. Until Dog fighting becomes a crime that has serious consequences idiots will continue to participate. 3) I believe in stricter enforcement of laws already in place as well as requiring a license/inspections to breed some of the bully breeds. I support OSL NOT BSL! 4) It's called a spring-pole and is basically tug-o-war without someone's shoulder being dislocated. I have one in my yard for my dogs. My neighbor and I both use it (it's on the property line) and neither of our dogs have dog aggression or can be classified as vicious (My male is fear-aggressive and has made progress in leaps and bounds. A stranger petted him the other day and he actually seemed to enjoy it.) Tug-o-war is a debate for many people. It does not encourage aggression on it's own however some people consider it an 'off-limits' activity for their dogs. There is nothing you can do unless the dog is allowed to run at large, shows aggression towards you while unsecured or actually goes after someone.
