Thanks Lisa l, I suppose I am in the upper end of the senior citizen range and I enjoy contributing to the answers site, I also have a few "built in" rules, IE, I do not answer any questions unless I feel suitably qualified to do so.I will not transmit unsuitable language or anything I feel is unsuitable for younger viewers,I believe in free speech but I also believe people should consider people who may be offended at the contents of some letters, Call me old fashioned, yes I guess I am

Not quite "senior", but getting there....I guess. :(
So, thank-you.
Nothing on two legs has ever scared, or chased me away.
If anything, I get irritated and stand my ground.
It's refreshing to see a younger person acknowledge that an older person might have an insight into things, that they have yet to experience. And some things, hopefully, that they'll never experience.
You have common sense, and a maturity about you that's nice to see. And, though I disappear from Answers for a period of time, now and then....it will be nice to see you around.

You know we DO have trolls!!!
I asked a question about puppies, thought maybe someone would like a friend, and North Shore Animal Shelter in New York, just got 900 of them in a raid on a puppy mill. then I asked if anyone knew where to get cheaper gasoline. I got a big response, with people from all the states giving their input. And both questions were reported and deleted, Gasp!!!, something as evil as puppies, and buying cheaper gasoline. SHAME ON ME.

Thank you, Lisa. We just try to bring our vast experiences and knowledge into this site to help ourselves and others. Like they say at work, we have "seniority". Sad to say, the trolls are on other sites also, so you just have to deal with it.Hopefully, I'll be "rockin in the free world" for a long time to come! Take care.

I am glad to help anyone who needs my advice. I can only give common sense answers backed by a lifetime of varied experience.
But I have to add that we seniors also enjoy the younger element, some of the answers and questions that you ask also help us to understand the younger generation, so we too value your opinions, plus you are never to old to learn.
I dont worry about trolls, they need to have their fun, and it
does not affect my enjoyment on y/a......

As you can see, no one is letting themselves be chased off....there's quite a bond in this group, something that a troll can't touch or begin to understand.

We are really a pretty tough bunch.
Don't worry Lisa, most of us will stay around because we really enjoy the company and socialization that we receive from our category.
Even though the trolls are pretty frustrating at times. I think some of them will realize that we as Seniors aren't thin skinned,nor frightened very easily.

That is why I like to come here, they are so fun to be around. I am not a senior citizen yet myself as I am only 51. They are a nice bunch of folks here that is for sure.
