Just bought my first house. My water pressure in my kitchen and bathroom sink are good. My shower though, is not so good. I've checked for build-up and even changed the showerhead. Don't really want to call a plummer, what are my other options? Help

You have a water saver valve in your shower head. If you take it apart, look inside the head part that connects to the water pipe and remove any inserts. Reattach and tighten.

Good Luck.

Only reason would be buildup of minerals or scale in the pipe leading to the shower from the mixing valve or a problem with the valve. Remove the showerhead and check the flow without it on. Could be that the mixing valve is not installed properly. Are there any shutoff valves for the tub/shower that may be partially closed? You could try to unclog the pipe by shutting off the water supply, draining the water from the shower, pour some CLR or Limeaway or white vinegar in the pipe for the shower, let it sit for an hour or so and then flush it out to see how it may unclog it.

It's Probably buildup in the pipe... unless for some reason someone put a pressure reducing valve in (which there'd be No logical reason for)

if it is just the shower head remove the watersaver inside(little rubber seal with small hole) if it is spout and showerhead your stems may have build up on them Some have valves on them and they may be turned partially off
Also you can soak the shower head in CLR or Vinegar to remove calcium lime build up or replace it altogether

Did you check behind the tub and make sure your stop velves were turned all the way on??.
