You can't straddle the fence, you have to do something. You either walk the right path, or the crooked one. Your choice.

People choose path in life to facilitate an easy go through. The humanity right from its beginning is making effort to make its path easier.
The potential of a human being is limited and the challenges are many. To make a better utilization of his resources available a person chooses to adopt a path in life. it may be political or social or religious or spiritual path.

Whether its a conscious decision, or one you randomly choose without knowing that you did, choosing a path is essential to moving forward...living!
Your path isn't necessarily your "vocation/career"...its also your way of doing things. Your path is every single step you make toward growing, living the life you want. Not choosing, and letting yourself blow on the wind, going where life leads you, is also a path....

It is not the case that we have to choose. There are many people who do not choose a path but just bounce around, going nowhere.
It is wise to choose and find the tools to help us on that path

If we dont choose, we stay idle. If we stay idle, we dont go anywhere.
Decision making is part of life. It is why we need knowledge and wisdom. And the path we choose, no matter the destination, always guarantees a journey. And that journey is everything. It is those happy and sad times.

When you choose an end, you have to change a path to reach there. If you don't have an end to reach you don't need a path.

for obvious reasons if you want to get to somewhere you wanna go, you have to take a path, hopefully the right one and with the most efficient and hopefully fastest mode of getting there. otherwise if you don't want to move or go somewhere else than where you are staying because you're satisfied with where you are right now, so you don't have to choose a path anyway. it's all up to you to direct your life.

we dont, in the long term sense
you can do this journey called life by just wandering around, exploring or being lost, though you do have to choose each step to take, whether right, left, straight, or turnaround, but that is not the same as plotting out the journey, nor is it the same as planning out a path to reach your goal
