my child cut off a bit of the box, making a small hole on it, but the toy itself is fine.

take it back with the reciept and u should get a refund. i bought something from argos and took it back 2 weeks later with no reciept and got a refund, and the box was broken.

argos are very good with returns!

If it is of unmerchantable quality then you have a statutory right to a refund (cash not a credit note) just take it back with the reciept or your credit card reciept depending on how you payed for it,,,your child must be so dissapointed,,,

If the item is faulty and you have a receipt you can get a refund no problem.
Your receipt is your guarantee 1 year from date of purchase.

Dont worry about the box,they cant expect you to keep a box in perfect condition.Take it back and dont sound apologetic,just say you want a refund,they should be ok with it,if not say you want to see a manager.

yes I don't think they're too bothered about the packaging as long as you have the receipt and every bit of what you bought is there then it's fine oh and it's within 30 days of purchase then they have to replace it as it's faulty.

phone store and explain to them that toy is broken they will either refund or replace .

yeah take it back with your recipt in the box and with everything that came with it, papers etc. i used to work there
