Yes, I agree that the war was fought under false pretenses. But I believe that the Labour Government should have told the truth and they would have been justified in their actions, to go to war. It was highly obvious that they were lying. I wasn't really concerned about the whereabouts of the weapons. Ridding the planet of evil dictators is a worthwhile cause, by my standards. I just wish they would be a little more coherent and truthful, with it!
However, there isn't much point in wallowing in the past. I just hope for the whole conflict to be resolved, one day soon. :)
The soldiers are doing a marvellous job. I wish them all the best. And I have the utmost respect for them.
Also, to the poster below. Why the hell should Tony Blair's son be sent to war? It's all a matter of personal choice. I wish some people would just get some perspective and common sense... What nonsense.

not the way that you do
the war is going on - right or wrong
no other leader who has taken this country into a war has ever been ridiculed in this way.............
many people disagreed with the Falklands war -----fighting over a few rocks in the south Atlantic off the coast of Argentina -- but the war happened ...........i didn't want it..........
we should support our troops and hope for an end to the conflict soon
tony has moved on...............he is no longer in power ......perhaps you could lobby government to get the troops brought home........

I think he made the best decision he could knowing what he knew. You will never know everything that he knew at the time of his decision. He doesn't want Innocent people to die for no reason? Do you really think he's some sort of monster? Grow up.

Leave the man alone.... He has done his bit for History. Now he is busy travelling in private jets all over the world making "zee beeg bucks" with appearances and speeches (all this according to yesterday's newspapers). In this day and age, you have to make a name for yourself... by lying, cheating.... etc then you get respect and sell your story. .
