I think the Global Warming is a well established fact. However, in answer to your question, it might be possible that the government is using it as an excuse to raise the taxes, rather than actually doing something to improve the critical situation of the climate.

I am inclined to believe global warming caused by mans high standard of living lifestyle, is just another problem reaction solution paradigm,

create a problem or mention one that does exist but distort it get the reaction (someone needs to do something) then offer the solution you wanted to use all along, that gets you rich and lowers teh standard of living of your slaves, I mean people.

create the fear, once the fear is well established whether the object of the fear is real or not, after all, all you have to do is repeat a lie often enough and people will accept it as fact, then offer the solution that calms those fears people if we tax co2 which is not a pollutant,

no, it is about control, strict control of cattle I mean people, excuse me I keep getting confused of who we are supposed to be, the purpose of oppression (like during the slave era here in the usa)is because we are free humans we can think and react and fight for freedoms we have free will etc, something animals don't have.so they are afriad of us, deep down inside they know we aren't animals or slaves, or inferior to them, they like to believe they are Gods (referring to bankers, corporations people etc) but they recognize that they are not, but they love acting like it so they have to delude themselves into believing their own lies.

One scripture that came to mind was "God gave them up to believing the lie because they did not love the truth." forget exactly where it is at, I am thinking ephesians or romans not sure. so I am thinking they convince themselves what they do and say is true to the point they don't recognize it for what it truly is, bull I mean crap I mean lies.

global warming, greenspace crisis, wildland crisis, herbs are bad scaring tactic, etc are just tools or a means to an end, enslavement. think about it, what exactly has caused republics like the usa (can't speak exactly for other nations not familiar with them) to become prosperous, well educated increased life spans, more leisure time, more arts higher quality of life? hasn't it been property rights?

isn't it because we owned ourselves, the fruits of our labors and the land we owned and cared for? isn't money the scale of our labors, how much we produced or represents the values of what we have done? isn't money just a medium of exchange? so don't we all own money, it is after all not the real asset that money is used to buy? isnt money something that belongs to everyone, in the making of it?couldnt a bag of grapes be used as medium of exchange of people decided to honor it? or couldn't we all decide that colorful rocks could be used as exchange of people agreed to it? isn't the fiat currency, the fed reserve notes just a rock? after it it has no real value, except that people accept is as the medium of exchange because they knwo they will be able to buy from others that will honor it too?

if I offer you 20 dollars of gold or 20 dollars of fed reserve note which would you take? what if I had a diamond worth a 10000 dollars and 1000 dollars worth of fiat currency which would you take?

okay that was a trick question, the diamond is really not a good medium of exchange as most people won't accept it because you can't redeem it for anything you can only upgrade your diamond at a dealer,he won't give you your money back or a pawn broker wont give fair market value.

so when you work a job and have to turn over some of the measurement of that production you are actually handing over your property to someone who claims ownership of it. now if you buy something with a sales tax like gasoline, it is more voluntary because you can decide to ride a bike sometimes thus needing less gas. you are not forced to pay it.

should we pay any taxes? yes of course the bible says pay our taxes the goverment still need revenue to function, and it is because if God allows them temporarily to function we respect that and don't try to overthrow them. but it frees one spiritually and mentally (sometimes physically too) from the illusion they have created for us, it frees us from being manipulated to do their bidding when it is unscriptural to do so. we can avoid alot of problems by knowing what is really going on. we can free our minds from their tyranny, revive our spirits after all once the jig is up they lose the power over our true sleves. we recognize the fraud, thus we can minimize it's impact on ourselves. when we hear them speak about things we recognize it for the lies they are and are not taken in.
