Thousands of tickets are handed out by casino host(s) to players. Many times they(players) will have extra and either just give them away, or sell them for face value. It's actually illegal to "scalp" tickets in LV but we all know how well that works. There will be scalpers(I mean ticket brokers) in the area selling tickets.

Later: The Mayweather vs Hatton fight is a pay per view event, the MGM Grand has the exclusive rights to the event in LV. The fight will not be shown in any sports bars/books/etc

Dont know that any hotel will show it, but any sports bar worth its name will be showing the fight.
Or you could try the British pub just off the strip - along the road between MGM and Tropicana hotels

I wouldnt bank on seeing it for free on any big screen. Some hotels may set uo a big screen but charge you to go in to view it. It is rare for hotels to freely show pay per view events in the sports book.
