#1 LSU - Only team in top 5 ALL SEASON long. Only top 25 team that has played SIX top 20 opponents. Only top 2 team to lose to a RANKED opponent, on the road, in triple OT no less.

#2 Oregon - Loss again to ARIZONA! Losing Dixon is no excuse, the defense played like GARBAGE! Tebow has better stats and undoubtedly is BETTER.

#3 Kansas - Let's be for real. Simply put, has played only ONE! team in top 25, barely won by 6. Wake me when they beat or at least PLAY someone in the top 20.

#4 Oklahoma - I can excuse the loss to UNRANKED Colorado, but to then get dismantled by T.T. What was Tech ranked?

#5 West Virginia - Only played 1 opponent in the top 20, AND LOST!!! I guess i does matter about playing highly ranked teams.

Here's a little LSU info. 1 Starting D-tackle out for season. 1 starting G gone most of season. Starting QB played injured for 3 straight games, missed 1. Top receiver missed 5 games. Stil #1!!!! Injuries are a part of football. Recruit Depth!!!

Heres the thing about LSU. They have one loss just like tons of other teams, but when they lost, they went from one to FIVE. When most teams lose a game, they drop way back. So bascially, just because the media loves them, they put them in position to get back to the top. LSU is a good team, despite the fact that they have no discipline, are one of the most penalized teams in the nation, and they have a moronic coach. My question to you is, how can one 1 loss team be picked over another? I suggest we just look at who they lost to. Kentucky is a mediocre team, who just lost again yesterday, I believe, for what the fifth time? This question will be moot in a few weeks anyways, I promise you Les Miles will screw up one these games. if its not agains Arkansas next week, then it will be the SEC championship game. I garauntee it, Ill be sure to find you when they do.

looking at LSUs schedule they have not played 6 top 20 teams...yes they may have played an opponent that was ranked, but the season is long and early on, many schools play nobodys and win, so remained rank, but once they start playing the true top #20 teams, they lose...

LSU, based on current BCS rankings played

#10 VT
#12 FL
#23 Kentucky...who they lost to

and they have had a tough time with FL (miss one 4th down and they lose to), Auburn, Alabama (who just lost to nobody university),

i'm sorry, we are stuck in a college football season where there is not clear cut #1, sorry, LSU just lost at the right time...early, it is sad to see Oregon go down, with Dixon they were the best in the country

Because LSU is usually ranked ahead of their teams and they find a way to win most close games. I'm a Big 12 guy so I really don't care for LSU. Vinny, Give me a break. Are you talking about the Illinois team that got beat by Iowa and the TTech team that got beat at home by Colorado. Sure tech beat Oklahoma but they stink too, which makes me wonder about Mizzou's loss in Norman.

Everyone not for the No. 1 team finds a reason to hate them. When OSU was No. 1, everyone hated them. Maybe more this year since there's no clear No. 1. See if LSU runs (the rest of) the table and wins the BCS championship. But, remember, they did lose a game they were supposed to win (just like almost everyone else).

You drank out of the scioto and olentangy rivers? you will possibly be ok ingesting out of the previous and tangy, yet once you drank out of the scioto you greater useful see a doctor. to respond to your question, the bragging would not difficulty all and sundry. it rather is how adverse and derogatory you're to different communities. The SEC as an entire seems to be that way. purely the Oklahoma followers in this website evaluate. the 1st poster is a ideal occasion. And for the checklist, OSU has ten cases the custom of LSU. greater national championships, greater Heisman trophy winners, and greater hall of famers.

Funny how you forgot to mention Missouri who would probably rout LSU. MU also has wins over 8-4 TxTech and @ 8-3 Illinois.

MU-KU next week is basically a national title pre-game that neither LSU nor WVU will make.

the only reason lsu has beatin so many ranked teams is because they played the teams that were only ranked high because they are sec...south carolina sucks, alabama clearly overrated, kentucky is a joke, i mean come on things have changed and this is the year they are changing. the sec doesnt deserve to have this teams ranked high just because they are "sec". Its not what it used to be and hopefully that will be realized soon
