Look man, the SEC has the most average football teams of any conference, true. But, is that something you want to hang your hat on? There is not any elite teams in the SEC this year. They are all good, but none are great. LSU lost to a terrible Kentucky team and went from number one to number five, in front of people with no losses. Why? There are quite a few teams that have one loss, but LSU is on top because they lost early and were put in a position to get back on top. And what tough schedule do people keep talking about with LSU? Florida and Auburn were tough games, but other than that, as the season has went on, I think its pretty obvious that the SEC is way overrated again. And all LSU fans want to talk about who they have beaten, instead of who they have lost to. Freakin Kentucky? please. LSU will lose anyways, if not to Arkansas, then the SEC championship game. Im not saying they're not a good team, but they have a incredibly stupid coach who will ruin it for them.

why are SEC fans in LOVE with their conference...it is not that great, yeah they have a lot of good teams, but don't look now so do a lot of other conferences...I really don't think there is a clear cut #1 team, but they hold the #1 spot, they lost early so they are #1, because we have to have someone at #1, but is there a #1 team out there, not really

if you look at all the sec teams atleast in the east, i havent looked at the west.. you will see every loss was by another sec team but one.. that tells me the sec is the best conference. ask any coach who is in the top 10 which division they would not wont to play against and each and every one of them name the sec first.. if that isnt a sure sign from a coaching stand point then there isnt one...
