No. I married for love. I still love him. It didn't work out. Perhaps I SHOULD have married for money...but I just couldn't live with myself. I couldn't lay next to someone I did not love.

No way! If you marry someone because they have a lot of money, I believe you earn every penny of it. I was emerging from a terrible divorce when I met my wife, who was going through her own divorce and had nothing because her ex was sending it all to another woman. Between the lawyers and my ex, I was picked clean financially. But my new wife and I were able to work together and we became multimillionaires in just a few years. Everything I lost financially came back quickly. Now we have nine houses, six cars (4 of them are Mercedes) and a thriving business. The divorce was awful, but it has been followed by the best years of my life. Incidentally, my ex and I were done with the legal proceedings and my she had to get along on her own, she wound up being homeless for a time! I consider that to be some degree of payback for they way she treated me.

Im divorced, but i got married because of pregnancy, and I stayed married because i worked so much i didnt realize 9 years had gone by.

Nope! He was flat broke when I married him, and I was when he married me. We have some money now, but we went through some long, lean years!
(Hubby cracked that if I did marry for money "She did a piss poor job of it...LOL)

Nope. My entire wedding cost less than $1,000. Yea, dress and all. We were so poor I couldn't even get a hair cut for the wedding. If you get married, do it for a reason.
