I think I know where you're going with this...
I know of "huggy" type people who hugs everyone all the time - it honestly does feel awkward.

Relaxed and happy. Makes me feel like im closer to that person as well.
I don't go around hugging everyone and I don't hug my family as im not very close with them.

well i don't hug guys but i do hug women and when i hug them it make feel like I'm in heaven or it make me feel like god made a good choice but putting me here in this planet. lol.

If there is any kind of love between me and that other person, then I feel that love as we draw closer together. If not, then there is sometimes almost like a negative energy.

i mean, dont get me wrong, sometimes i hug them (family) to say goodbye or hello, or to comfort them or what ever, and i'll feel sympathtic.... is that what you mean? but other people? i don't feel anything. *thinks* okay now i'm confuzzled, idk what you are meaning.
