When we have peace with God. And when we treat others as we would have others treat us. When we look for the good in others. We need to encourage others to be the best that they can be. Everyone is searching for that something that makes life worth living. Most of us try to find our worth in the eyes of others. So we're always having to do something to earn our worth, e.g. "make a difference in the world", "leave the world a better place", "learn all you can", etc.

When we were children, we found our worth simply through the love between parent and child. We didn't have to do anything to earn it. I think we long for that kind of worth.

The Christian idea is that we have our worth simply by being a child of God. We seek God by trying to obey His command to love our neighbor for where love is, there God is also.
