no we are bloody not , I really detest having to pay money to those tarts at the BBC, never watched their bloody channels for years. The programmes are much better on ITV and C4 and some sky channels which I dont mind paying a subscription for. The BBC is full of lazy malingerers that scrounge off the paying British public..so there!

Depends what you're after. If you're after wall-to-wall moron fodder like Big Brother, Tricia, Jeremy Kyle, crap game shows and sensationalism, while your radio listening is top 20 pop punctuated by inane drivel, you'll perceive what you pay for the BBC as very poor value indeed.

But, if you prefer quality drama, up-to-date and deep insight into current affairs, groundbreaking documentary and comedy, a variety of music and speech radio, as well as local services, then £130 towards the running of the BBC is very good value.

Compared to the £400 I choose to pay to Sky for their services, the BBC licence fee is excellent value.

Far too much of BBC's output are just self indulgent 'jollies' for so called celebrities.

The BBC has forgotten how to make entertainment. The script writers' clearly don't know how to craft a plot.

I am fed up of reality rubbish and hokey social engineering programmes.

lol, sorry, had to laugh. just the fact you need to ask this is funny. over £130 a yr to just have the telly receiving equipment in your home is not value for money. the government have covered themselves tho by saying it shouldnt reflect standards of programmes. i beg to differ.
