white knight tumbledryer?

can anybody help my tumbledryer works only when i turn it on with the door open i have to spin it and quickley shut the door i have checked the fan belt and it is very tight not slipping and the timer switch is working .

There should be a red reset button at the back press that for 10 seconds then give it a go.
