When I was younger I wanted to go back to the 1850s but now that I'm older I think it would be too hard of a lifestyle, besides I would probably have died about 10 years ago.

I'd like to live in the stepford wife era, but with more womens rights haha.

I just like how they get to wear pretty dresses all the time and clean the house and bake all day. However i'd suck at doing that, i can't cook or bake(even though i love baking)... I think the dresses would be the best bit.

Umm other than that........ The movie My Girl.....the era that was set in, not sure exactly what era that is . How they ride around on push bikes down the street, say hello to everyone in the town when they ride past, swim in the creek and love the outdoors sorta thing....... and all they had to worry about was being home for dinner!!

Not really, this era (present economic era) seems to be pretty stable (still has issues, but it's being worked out)
Besides, we've came a long way, learned through trial and error.

I really like NOW the best of any era I have lived in--all the medical and technology advancements. But, I think the 1920's would have been fun. Charleston, flappers, speakeasies, Rudolph Valentino.....

Medieval/Victorian for a short time. I'd love to live in a castle with long dresses, ride in a coach. Interesting.
I do prefer the present even though we are in many ways in perilous times.

I'd like to go back to the Cowboy days. With covered wagons and no cars!(no gas, insurance, licenses etc.) Work hard all day sleep good all night, Family was the most important thing & there were no bombs, no poison gases, no street gangs, no mad cow disease or aids, sars, or ebola. Just clean air, clean streams, neighbors helped each other, a man took care of his family & children were still innocent! You know, back before we screwed the world up!!!!

Nope ... Been there, done that, my ole tigerlope friend! Still paying off the move to the last hair brained idea of being able to move away for my problems... Believe me when I say, you can run, but you can't hide ...

...I like it right here... beautiful downtown "Florida"... why it got so cold here last night that I almost had to put on a shirt.
Florida only has "3" seasons... "last" summer, "this" summer and "next" summer... (that's South Florida)...
