I have had that happen. I know there is somebody who does not like me and does that a lot. I won't let it bother me as long as I know I gave a good answer. Never delete your answer. It makes them feel like they have accomplished something.
Do not let it bother you. You have plenty of people who appreciate you and your answers.

well first i will react by being mad and angry but then i have to think for a second that if i didn't ask this question i wouldn't gotten a thumbs down. there is something to learn here. when ever you ask a question. you don't except to get all good answer because some people just using their thoughts and opinion and so you have to accept the facts of what they say unless you don't like their answer don't Chose them as an BA and email them right away and ask them about the Thumbs down and they can tell you way. that's what i always do when i get a thump down on asking question or answering a question. i really don't care about the thumbs down. except if someone reported me, if i got a violation notice or if my question was deleted. that's get me mad and angry other than that I'm all good and enjoying the life and enjoy being here. so i know how you feel but don't worry and think about it.

It makes me feel dumb, for a second. I try to remember that there are plenty of malicious people doing this to everyone's answers, but when I first see the thumb, it is always a dissapointment.

I might have a cure for you, though. Write something like, "I know I'll get a thumbs-down for this." It really takes the sting out. Works for me, anyway. Then I think something like "Oh, those grouchy people are sooo predictable. HaHaHa."

What about getting a bunch of violations all of a sudden? That's what's happening to me. I'm very sure that it's not my contacts but someone just following me around.

Sheesh! Some peeps need to get a life.

I just know some low life is on patrol. Most times someone sensible comes along and remedies the situation. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Thumbs down are a badge of honor meaning my words speak truth.

It's obvious you have a stalker thumbing you down. I usually move on and don't look back.

It's irritating and rather offensive...but I usually shrug it off, it means that someone didn't agree with my opinion...and we are all entitled to one. I get a lot sometimes for very good answers.
