to find inner peace, incredible joy, breathless wonderment, and total bliss.

you must come to the following realizations.

the only person you control in this life is you.
since you can not control what other people do,
do not waste time getting mad at them for being what they are and doing what they do. either accept them or move away from them and forget them, forever. this gives peace of mind.

beware of the past.
when you think about or remember something that makes you sad, angry, fearful,
stop it, right there.
immediately start thinking of happy thoughts, happy memories, of things you like and make you happy.

when you smile, you will find it easy to be happy.
so smile often, all day if you can. feeling sad will be impossible. the more you smile the more you will find that your heart is filled with joy.

when you expect good things, you will find good things. when you expect things to be easy, they will be, you must hold firm to the belief and make it work.

if you had a child,
would you not love it with all your heart?
your heart is like a child, you must love yourself,
when you love yourself, you can feel you heart sing. there is a warmth around you, as if an angel held you within he arms, and you felt totally loved, safe, and content.
love yourself its easy.
look in the mirror and say I love you.

start thinking about your dreams.
do you want a man to love you, a beautiful house, a rewarding job, a happy family.
visualize in you mind what you want, see it clearly, as if it stood before you right now. feel how happy you would be if you had it.
now say I choose this, come to me now.
do this for 5 minutes everyday and it will be yours.

good luck

I am not one that have found inner peace, nor am I searching for it. My luck in life so far is that what I want, I cannot get. So I try to refrain from wanting and take things as they come. Not a real good lifestyle, but I am fine with it.

To even begin the search for inner peace, you need to resolve your current 'bad time.' This is not something you can just put aside and hope it will go away. You will need to confront it and understand it. Only then can you even start to begin the search.

Inner peace is not about not having any bad in your life, but how you deal with the bad so that the affect on you is minimal. You have to find the source of the anger and put it in perspective. Keeping a notebook helps. Write down your feelings when you are angry and look it over when you are calm. Even if you get nothing from it in the beginning, just the act itself will help you come to terms with the anger as you will slowly analyze the events of your life.

Do not look for someone or something to blame for the anger, as you are just adding fire to fire. Find the root cause and why it affects you so.

It is in our human nature that our lives be worth living. Many try to find their worth in the eyes of others. When we do this, we're always striving to do something to show/prove our worth and then we're constantly trying to evaluate ourselves from the perspective of others. That approach to gain worth will never yield inner peace.

When we were children we found our worth in the love of our parents and we long for that to be true for us today.

The Christian idea is that we are children of God. He created us in love and wants us to come to love Him and to love others through our love for Him. We are worthy simply because of His love.

pray and read the bible. Psalm 143 I found was very relevant when I went through a real bad time!
