It seems like she leaves the house for class less and less. She claims to do alot of her work online.

I think that you should ask her. Maybe she is doing her work online, or maybe she is failing.
Ask her to tell you about the work she's doing and explain that you don't want to invade her privacy but you're worried about how she's going at college.
If she is failing then Don't Get Mad. (You probably won't, but just in case.) If you get angry at her then it explains why she didn't tell you herself earlier. Offer to help her study or something so that she can do better.
If she's not failing, congratulate her and make her feel that you're proud of her success. Maybe you could ask her to keep you up to date in the future so that you don't worry.

Well, if she is over 18 you can't unless she signs a waiver so the college can release her grades to you, thanks to the U.S Federal FERPA laws. Hell, Legally a college can't even give out a students dorm telephone number to parents without that waiver.
