i need it for my investigatory project. anyone please help. how do i make a filter? just a simple one for pollution in the air.

Some charcoal (you can buy it from a petstore, for fish) in a coffee filter would work just fine.

Use vacuum cleaners to filter the air. Have an ingenuity of designing a setup of your project.

Well for a real simple one, like they use for a lawn mower, just a bit of foam rubber, obviously it isn't going to take really small particles out of the air, but it works for lawn mowers.
